 STAMPIN'UP - CRUMB CAKE  #121699 and STARFRUIT #126836

I have heard, a lot of ladies find the card stock Starfruit #3126836 a hard color to work with, but for me, this was love at first sight.
I love this SEAM BINDING RIBBON! - CRUMB CAKE #122332.
This seam binding ribbon is available in 8 different colors!

Another reason to love STAMPIN' UP! They have every thing color coordinated.
Stampin'Up makes our lives so simple, we have more time to create!

The chevron lines have been cut with a craft knife, then rolled back.
The stamp used  for the ink splatters -FRENCH FOLIAGE- #121166c / #120845w
Over inking can be wonderful! Some thing different!

Sprayed with SHIMMER PAINT #116806 (self made shimmer mist) This gives the shimmer gold finish....love it!

Sorry ladies the mini clip is from STAMPIN' UP, but it is retired..they will just have to release it again...don't you think?
See how the STARFRUIT #1268336 card stock distresses! Just so thick and fluffy.
Love the new release-Stampin' DISTRESS TOOL #127562. (page 14 of the mini catalog )
I find this tool, is good in the hand, thus easy to use and because you have 8 blades, it is great value for money.
A bonus! It comes in a little clear plastic zip bag, so it makes life easy when you are on the move going to a crops or fun afternoons with the girlfriends!
Another reason to love STAMPIN" UP!

Last but not least! Don't you just love this little face? This is Edward, my sisters little one.
Time does not stand still. Edward started his first year at school the beginning of the year. He is loving it!
I hope you have enjoyed your visit, have a inky day,
Sussi

My Boys

STAMPIN' UP with CRUMB CAKE  paper #119711 and GESSO

"My Boys", A sketch taken from the nearest scrap store in Carins. They do a challenge every month.

The boys are my sisters children, Edward and Ethan. I wanted to leave a bit of me when I left, and of course such little adorable monkeys they are.....just love them to bits. I sure am going to miss playing dinosaurs  bad man and getting all the latest info explained top me.....I won't be missing the Macky's ice cream that I got addicted too!

The paper I  used is brought out through Stampin up...my new project...hahaha

I have tried something new here. Using the basics....card stock. design paper and gesso. The back ground is made with masks and gesso, using the bingo and the ink splatter design. Circles punched out of design paper done the same as the back ground. The numbers are fancy cut from the design paper and flowers cut with dies. Below are a few more close ups to enjoy.

I hope you have enjoyed one of my first LO's using "STAMP'IN UP" products.
